COVID-19 Coronavirus Economic Assistance Resources


We understand that life, for the short-term, will be full of uncertainty.  Our mission is to support locally owned businesses and educate communities and want to help keep you informed about economic programs that have been established as a result of COVID-19.  The following national and regional resources have been established to help Massachusetts residents. We will do our best to update resources supporting businesses, employees, and communities as they become available.     

Small Business Administration Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Program

The Baker-Polito Administration is committed to partnering with the business community to navigate the outbreak of COVID-19.  Learn more and apply @ COVID-19 Resources and Guidance for Businesses

Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation COVID-19 Loan Fund

A loan fund of $10 million has been created to provide financial relief to Massachusetts businesses [and nonprofits] that have been affected by COVID-19. Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) will receive and process all applications for this fund. Learn more and apply @ COVID-19 Loan Fund

“Prime the Pump” – Springfield, MA

Springfield’s “Prime the Pump” will offer funding in addition to federal and state money already available. Grants will be available to restaurants that seek to reorganize their service delivery operations to meet the public health restrictions and retain as many employees as possible. $15,000 maximum per qualified businesses. Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts Critical Grant

Critical grants provide funding for nonprofits experiencing operating issues due to unforeseen emergencies or urgent needs [such as the COVID-19 Pandemic]. Learn more and apply @ Critical Grants [NPO]

One Fair Wage

One Fair Wage campaign is providing cash assistance to restaurant workers, car service drivers, delivery workers, personal service workers and more who need emergency funds. Learn more and apply @ OFW Emergency Fund

USBG National Charity Foundation’s Bartender Emergency Assistance Program

With the turmoil and uncertainty created but the spreading COVID-19 virus, the service industry, and the beverage industry in particular, is being hit hard. If you or someone you know is a part of the beverage industry and is in need of financial assistance, please apply for an aid grant @ Bartender Emergency Assistance Program
